What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the Tenant did not void by paying the arrears.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $3,019.64 in rent arrears and $175 in application fees, for a total of $3,194.64. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by December 6, 2020, the Tenant will start owing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
