What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was amended to an L9 application for arrears only, as the amount owing was not significant.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $706.75 in rent arrears and $175 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by December 6, 2020, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
