What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The application was initially dismissed as abandoned when the Landlord failed to attend the hearing on April 27, 2020. The Landlord requested a review, stating that they did not receive the Notice of Hearing for the April 27 hearing.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $923.52 in rent arrears for February 2020, plus the $190 application fee, for a total of $1,113.52, by March 13, 2021. If the Tenant does not pay by that date, they will start owing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
