What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the previous order issued by the LTB on September 13, 2022.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out by April 3, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlords $12,981.90 (less any payments made after the application was filed) and $50.30 per day for compensation starting March 24, 2023 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by April 3, 2023, the Tenant will start owing interest at 5% annually on the outstanding balance.
