What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay the rent they owed, as well as NSF cheque charges and related administration charges. The Tenants were not present or represented at the hearing.

The ruling

The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlord $630.41 in rent arrears, $25.00 in NSF cheque charges, and $201.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by November 9, 2021, they will start owing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
