What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to maintain home insurance, which the Landlord claimed substantially interfered with the Landlord's and other tenants' reasonable enjoyment.

The ruling

The Tenant was ordered to obtain home/renters insurance by April 5, 2021 and provide evidence of such to the Landlord. If the Tenant failed to comply, the Landlord could apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant. The Tenant was also ordered to pay the Landlord $175 for the cost of filing the application.
