What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. Landlords also claimed charges related to NSF cheques. Tenant did not attend the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $10,986.00 by September 15, 2022. If not voided, the Tenant must move out by September 15, 2022, and pay $9,102.22 plus $59.18 per day from August 30, 2022, until move-out. The Landlords may file for eviction enforcement starting September 16, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
