What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent and persistent late payment of rent. The application was initially dismissed as abandoned, but the Landlord requested a review.

The ruling

The Landlord's application to terminate the tenancy on the basis of non-payment of rent was withdrawn. However, the Board found that the Tenant has been persistently late in paying rent, and granted a conditional order for the Tenant to pay rent on time for the next 12 months, rather than an order for termination.
