What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed administration charges related to NSF cheques. The Tenant did not attend the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 5, 2022, unless the Tenant voids the order by paying the specified amounts. The Tenant must pay $3,860.96 to the Landlord, plus $58.65 per day from February 23, 2022, until move-out. The Tenant can void the eviction by paying $6,341.00 by February 28, 2022, or $8,125.00 by March 5, 2022.
