What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board on December 3, 2021. The Tenant failed to pay $700.00 towards rent arrears by November 30, 2021, and paid the December 1, 2021 rent late on December 14, 2021.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective January 30, 2022. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by this date. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) for eviction enforcement starting January 31, 2022. The previous order (EAL-95000-21 AM) is cancelled.
