What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The parties reached a settlement and requested a consent order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 31, 2023. The Tenant must move out by that date and pay the Landlord $10,493.00 by July 1, 2023, which includes rent arrears and costs. If the Tenant fails to pay the June 2023 rent by June 1, 2023, the Landlord may apply to terminate the tenancy earlier. Interest will be charged on any unpaid balance starting August 1, 2023.
