What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to undue damage to the rental unit, substantial interference with the Landlord's reasonable enjoyment, overcrowding, and persistent late payment of rent.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective August 6, 2021. The Tenants must vacate the unit by that date and pay the Landlord $15,000 for repair costs, $115.07 per day for use of the unit until move-out, and $190 for the application fee. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by August 6, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
