What happened
Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that he owes. The Tenant vacated the rental unit on February 29, 2020, prior to the hearing date.
The ruling
The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $1,773.20, minus the rent deposit, which represents the amount of rent owing up to February 29, 2020. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $190.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 27, 2020, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 3.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
