What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to failure to pay rent. However, the Tenants had paid all rent arrears by the hearing date, so the Landlord only sought an order for the outstanding application filing fee.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $176.00, which represents a portion of the Landlord's cost for filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by October 31, 2021, they will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
