What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet certain conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 15, 2020. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $793.79 in rent arrears and $25.65 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting April 1, 2020 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by August 15, 2020, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
