What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet the conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 10, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $2,475.80 for rent arrears and previous application costs, less the rent deposit and interest. The Tenant must also pay $31.89 per day for compensation starting July 31, 2021 until the unit is vacated. If the full amount is not paid by August 10, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest on the outstanding balance.
