What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord also applied for termination due to a purchase agreement, but withdrew this application at the hearing. Tenants claimed disrepair issues as a reason for withholding rent.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless Tenants void the order by paying the specified amounts. If not voided, Tenants must move out by July 9, 2022, and pay $11,378.25 plus $53.76 per day from June 10, 2022, until they vacate. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting July 10, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
