What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent and for substantially interfering with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant, and for willfully or negligently causing damage to the premises.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants pay $10,656 by May 20, 2024 to void the order and continue the tenancy. If the Tenants do not pay, they must move out by May 20, 2024 and pay the Landlord $9,654.75 plus $27.95 per day in compensation starting April 26, 2024 until they move out.
