What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant committing an illegal act by throwing rocks at the Landlord's unit, seriously impairing the safety of another person, wilfully causing undue damage to the premises, and substantially interfering with the Landlord's reasonable enjoyment of the building.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective October 24, 2022. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $6,034.80, which includes compensation for the Tenant's use of the unit after the termination date, the cost of filing the application, and the reasonable costs to repair the damage caused by the Tenant. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by October 18, 2022, the Tenant will owe interest on the outstanding balance.
