What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlords require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation by their son.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 31, 2022, and the Tenant must vacate the rental unit by that date. The Landlords must pay the Tenant one month's rent in compensation by the termination date. If the Tenant does not vacate by July 31, 2022 and the Landlords have paid the compensation, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
