What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent and meet conditions specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenants failed to pay $291.22 towards arrears by October 1, 2022, as required by the previous order.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective January 24, 2023. Tenants must pay $3,437.08 plus $27.52 per day from January 14, 2023, until they vacate the unit. If not paid by January 24, 2023, interest will accrue at 5% annually. The Landlord may file for eviction with the Sheriff starting January 25, 2023, if the unit is not vacated.
