The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenant is terminated effective November 4, 2020, the date the Tenant vacated the rental unit. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $30,968.40 in rent arrears and compensation, plus $190.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by April 1, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
