What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlord has entered into an agreement of purchase and sale of the rental unit and the purchaser requires possession for residential occupation. The Tenants requested a review of the initial order, leading to a de novo hearing.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 28, 2022. Tenants must vacate by this date. If not vacated, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting March 1, 2022. Tenants to pay $41.84 per day for use of the unit if they remain after February 28, 2022.
