What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as specified in a previous order. The Tenant did not meet the conditions of the previous order to pay rent arrears and current rent.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 13, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $1,531.26 (less any amount paid after January 11, 2021) and $78.90 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting February 3, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 13, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
