What happened
Tenant applied for an order determining that the Landlord failed to meet the Landlord's maintenance obligations under the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 or failed to comply with health, safety, housing or maintenance standards due to mold in the rental unit.
The ruling
The Tenant is entitled to the $394.37 cost of the mold assessment report, as well as the $45 application fee. No other compensation or rent abatement is awarded, as the Landlord was cooperative in allowing the Tenant to terminate the tenancy.
