What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in the mediated settlement issued by the Board on January 28, 2020 with respect to a previous application. The Tenant failed to pay $650.00 towards rent arrears by the specified date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated and the Tenant must move out by January 15, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $2,212.74, plus $32.93 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting May 1, 2020 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by January 15, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
