What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears. The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $11,426 by 2023-01-29 to void the order and continue the tenancy. If the Tenant does not pay, they must vacate by 2023-01-29 and pay the Landlord $8,622.62 plus daily compensation of $49.91 from 2023-01-06 until move-out.
