What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet the conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board on June 15, 2021.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out by July 6, 2021. The Tenant shall pay the Landlords $688.05 in rent arrears and $24.08 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting June 26, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by July 6, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
