What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlord intends to do major repairs or renovations to the rental unit. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenants remained in the unit after the termination date.
The ruling
The Landlord's application is dismissed as the notice to terminate the tenancy is not valid as it does not comply with the 120-day requirement under the Act.
