What happened

Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous mediated settlement. The Tenant had been playing her radio at a high volume, substantially interfering with the reasonable enjoyment of other tenants.

The ruling

The previous order TSL-19225-20 is set aside and replaced. The Landlord shall explore options with the Tenant to allow her to listen to the radio without substantially interfering with other tenants, such as providing a bluetooth headset or limiting the volume. If the Tenant fails to comply, the Landlord can apply to terminate the tenancy without further notice.
