The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective November 12, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $6,533.05, which includes rent arrears up to October 31, 2021, less the rent deposit and interest. The Tenant must also pay $38.37 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting November 1, 2021 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 12, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
