What happened
The Co-operative sought a writ of possession for the unit occupied by Erin Vella and her daughter Emily-Rose Ellis, who were not members of the Co-operative. Tony Vella, who was a member, had requested guest status for the Respondents, which was approved for one year. However, Tony Vella was no longer living in the unit, and the Co-operative terminated his membership and occupancy rights.
The ruling
A writ of possession shall issue in respect of the unit, effective 60 days from the release of the reasons.
