What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective April 11, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $5,136.00 for rent arrears and the previous application fee, plus $34.52 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting April 1, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by April 11, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest and the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
