What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant breached a condition of a previous order by failing to pay rent for December 2020.

The ruling

The Board granted the Tenant's motion to set aside the previous order, and issued a new order requiring the Tenant to pay the outstanding rent arrears of $550 by April 28, 2021. If the Tenant fails to make the payment, the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant.
