What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. Tenant did not void the N4 Notice by paying arrears. Tenant was still in possession of the rental unit at the time of the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying the specified amounts. The Tenant must move out by November 30, 2022, if the order is not voided. The Tenant owes $16,856.49 plus $39.93 per day from September 14, 2022, until move-out. Eviction can be enforced by the Sheriff starting December 1, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
