What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the mediated settlement issued by the Board on November 12, 2019.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out by September 7, 2020. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $2,769.33, which represents the rent owing up to April 30, 2020, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $49.32 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting May 1, 2020 until the Tenant moves out.
