What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to the Tenant or another occupant of the rental unit committing an illegal act involving the production, trafficking, or possession of illegal drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 19, 2022, and the Tenant must vacate the rental unit by that date. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $186 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 19, 2022, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance. If the unit is not vacated by February 19, 2022, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction.
