What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice). The Tenant requested a review of the order issued on February 5, 2020.

The ruling

The request to review order TSL-00625-18 issued on February 5, 2020 is granted and varied. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $175.00 for the cost of filing the application, on or before November 8, 2021. If the Tenant does not pay the Landlord the cost of filing the application on or before November 8, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest calculated from November 9, 2021 at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
