What happened

Landlords applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay the rent they owed. The Landlords also claimed NSF cheque charges.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay to the Landlords $1,600.00, which represents the amount of rent owing up to March 14, 2020, and $190.00 for the cost of filing the application, for a total of $1,790.00. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount owing by December 5, 2020, they will start to owe simple interest calculated at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
