What happened

The landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenants because the tenants failed to meet a condition specified in the order issued by the Board on August 5, 2021 with respect to application SOL-21380-21.

The ruling

The tenancy between the landlord and the tenants is terminated. The tenants must move out of the rental unit on or before October 23, 2021. If the unit is not vacated on or before October 23, 2021, then starting October 24, 2021, the landlord may file this order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) so that the eviction may be enforced. The tenant will also pay to the landlord the sum of $50.00 for the broken door handle. This amount will be paid on or before October 31, 2021. If it is not paid by that date starting November 1, 2021 the outstanding balance will also accrue interest at a rate of 2% per annum.
