What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Landlord also claimed NSF cheque charges and related administration charges.
The ruling
The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $292.29, which represents the rent, NSF charges, and costs owing to the end of the tenancy, less the rent deposit and any interest owing. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 13, 2020, she will owe simple interest calculated from September 14, 2020 at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
