What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant; because the number of persons living in the unit on a continuing basis is more than permitted by health, safety or housing standards; because the Tenant has knowingly misrepresented the Tenant's income or the income of other members of the Tenant's family who occupy the unit; and because the Tenant, another occupant of the rental unit or a person the Tenant permitted in the residential complex has seriously impaired the safety of any person.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 19, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date and pay the Landlord $1,017.04, which includes compensation for use of the unit and the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by July 19, 2021, interest will start accruing at 2% annually on the outstanding balance. If the unit is not vacated by July 19, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
