What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to cooperate with pest control treatment, which substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the residential complex by the Landlord and other tenants.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 30, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by that date. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $186 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by August 30, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
