What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated and the Tenants must move out by March 27, 2020. The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $815.34, representing the rent owing up to March 16, 2020 less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenants shall also pay the Landlord $51.95 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting April 1, 2020 until they move out. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount owing by August 17, 2020, they will start owing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
