What happened

Landlord applied for termination of tenancy and eviction due to alleged willful damage to the premises. Landlord also sought compensation for damages and daily compensation for tenant's continued occupancy after termination date.

The Landlord's application for termination and eviction was dismissed due to insufficient grounds under section 63. However, the Tenant was ordered to pay $500 for window repair and $186 for the application filing fee, totaling $686. Interest will accrue at 2% annually on any unpaid balance after February 19, 2022.
