What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Tenant was in possession of the rental unit on the date the application was filed, but vacated the unit on October 31, 2020.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $3,832.50 in rent arrears and $201.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 23, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
