What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous order (TNL-27908-20) regarding rent payment. Tenants failed to pay $2,812.56 in arrears by December 30, 2021, and $2,216.93 in rent by January 1, 2022.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 14, 2022. Tenants must pay $4,583.59 to the Landlord, representing rent owing up to February 3, 2022, less the rent deposit and interest. Additional compensation of $72.89 per day is due from February 4, 2022, until the Tenants vacate. If full payment is not made by February 14, 2022, interest will accrue, and the Landlord may enforce eviction through the Court Enforcement Office.
