What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant committing an illegal act or carrying out an illegal trade, business or occupation in the rental unit or the residential complex.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective December 3, 2018. The Tenant must move out by that date and pay the Landlord $332.50, which includes compensation for use of the unit, the application filing fee, and a $100 fine to the Board. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by December 3, 2018, they will start owing interest at 3% annually on the outstanding balance.
