What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous order (LTB-L-008327-22) issued on September 28, 2022. The Tenants failed to pay $600.00 towards arrears by October 15, 2022, as required by the previous order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 13, 2023. Tenants must pay $8,174.57 to the Landlord, representing rent owing up to February 02, 2023, less the rent deposit and interest. Daily compensation of $41.71 is owed from February 3, 2023, until the Tenants move out. If not vacated by February 13, 2023, the Landlord may enforce eviction through the Court Enforcement Office.
