What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant, another occupant, or someone Tenant permitted substantially interfering with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlords or another tenant.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 31, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlords $8,831.66, which includes compensation for use of the unit from August 15, 2020 to January 20, 2021, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenant must also pay $69.04 per day for compensation for use of the unit from January 21, 2021 until the Tenant vacates, as well as $186 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by January 31, 2021, interest will accrue at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
